“Joowanaroo”: June 13, 14, and 15, Maple Falls. Music, four stages, over 20 bands from across the Northwest. Outdoor grilling, beer tent, family friendly until 9 p.m. Free to the public. www.joowana.com.

Deming Logging Show: June 14 &15. Events start at 11 a.m. and the show starts at 1 p.m. Cost is $6 U.S. per adult, $3 U.S. per seniors & children (six-12), and children under six are free. There is a large section of free car parking on the grounds. www.demingloggingshow.com.

Sumas Community Day: June 28, Sumas City Park. 10 a.m. – car Show & Shine ; 11 a.m. – parade; noon, fun at city park; baseball tournaments throughout the day. 10:15 p.m., grand fireworks.

6th Annual Mustache Poker Run: June 28. Motorcyclists start at Babe’s for 9 a.m. breakfast buffet, then to the Waterfront, Bobby Lee’s, Holy Smoke, and end at Little Road Side. From Hills to Mills Woodworking & Crafting Show: July 11 – 13, Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Cost is $4 U.S. per person and $10 U.S. per family. Live demonstrations and chainsaw competitions. Inside the museum there will be crafting such as bead work, soaps, knitting, etc. To be a part of the woodworking & crafting show, fill out a printable reservation slip, and send it in with your payment. www.demingloggingshow.com.
