Vegetable starts will also be available, donated by Joe’s Garden, be sure to get there early to find your favorite tomato variety.
“This fundraiser is a wonderful way to get the plants you want for the season and support our local farmers,” says Sara Southerland, Food & Farming Program Manager. “Proceeds from years past have enabled us to expand our new farmer training program and keep the Whatcom County Farm Tour going. It’s the perfect win-win.”
The Cascade Cuts Plant Sale is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Sustainable Connections’ Food & Farming Program. All proceeds go to support Sustainable Connections local food and farmer initiatives.
