An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Saturday, repeating until Jun 25, 2016
We offer this class primarily for two types of sailors: 1) sailors who have taken sailing classes from us or other organizations but are out of practice and need to brush up on weak skills or 2) sailors who graduated from our Keelboat 101 class but want to widen their scope to include dinghy sailing. Either way, we encourage you to join this two-day class and brush up on those essential skills necessary to get you out on the bay!
This class includes a sailing assessment at the end of the course to determine sailboat rental eligibility (solo, with crew, green wind only, green & yellow wind).
Note: This class requires that you already have all of the skills and knowledge learned in our intro classes. This includes rigging, sail trim, tacking, jibing, docking, safety maneuvers, person overboard, and more. We will be practicing these skills but we will not be teaching them. We will be teaching and practicing Capsize Recovery in this class, so come prepared to get wet!
