Artistic Director, Ricardo Guity, who began his career at age 10 as a prodigy to the renowned Master Drummer, Babatunde Olatunji, is accomplished in a wide array of musical genres, from the Latino styles of salsa, merengue, and cumbia, to pop, rock, reggae, and the blues. A key player in developing Punta Rock, an internationally acclaimed contemporized version of Garifuna rhythms; he has worked along side many other greats such as Youssou N’Dour, Ibrahima Camara, Celia Cruz, and more.
