Junior Ski To Sea

The Junior Ski to Sea Race presented by Haggen Northwest Fresh is an annual community event organized and hosted by the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce & Industry. It is for participants who are in 3rd grade or older.
THE JR. SKI TO SEA RACE WILL BE HELD AT LAKEPADDEN PARK.
Each year, six-member teams register to participate in a five-leg race consisting of running, three-legged race, biking, soccer and an obstacle course.

The 2015 Junior Ski to Sea Parade presented by Haggen Northwest Fresh will be held onFriday, May 15 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. The parade starts on the corner of Cornwall and Kearney Streets, continues down Cornwall and ends at Railroad and Champion Streets.
Awards will be given in the following categories: Grand Prize, Best Pet, Best Large Float, Best Small Float, Best Group, Best Decorated Bike, Best Novelty, Best Drill Group, Judges Award (x4), and Band Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
