Join us for SPAWNtaneous fun! Come celebrate the mighty Skagit River and return of the salmon. Our grassy waterfront park with snowcapped Mt. Baker towering in the distance creates an amazing setting to spend the day.
The Skagit River Salmon Festival runs 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is a FREE family-centered event featuring youth activities and craft projects, local artisans, recreational and educational booths, live music for every taste, and great food. There are also cultural opportunities to experience with traditional Native American music, dance and storytellers.
New on-site this year will be the addition of the Puget Sound DockDogs-the world’s premier canine aquatics competition. Utilizing a 40-foot pool, dogs and their owners from Washington, Oregon and Canada will compete in the following aquatic events:
• Big Air (long jump)
• Extreme Vertical (high jump)
• Speed Retrieve (fastest dog to the end of the pool wins the race)
Be SPAWNtaneous! Come join us September 6!
