A classic multi-day traverse in the Whistler Backcountry. The Blackcomb chairlift from the Whistler Resort gets you up to elevation – you can buy a backcountry pass for a single upload.
Drive to Whistler and park in Lot 5, the only lot where overnight parking is allowed. Leave a note on your car that you are camping and walk 10 minutes to the Blackcomb base. Buy a backcountry lift ticket for around $45. Work your way up the lift system to the Showcase T-bar near the summit of Blackcomb.
