Northwest Tune-Up, a mountain bike, craft beer and music festival in downtown Bellingham’s waterfront district, kicks off Friday, July 12 with performances by Indigo De Souza, Yonder Mountain String Band, and more.
New to this year’s festival is the recently-announced after parties, starting at 9 p.m. until “late” at Wild Buffalo House of Music on Friday, Gruff Brewing on Saturday and Structures Brewing on Sunday. The events are free for all ticketholders aged 21 and older, and will feature encore performances by festival acts at each location throughout the weekend.
Ticketholders can also enjoy free tickets to the Bellingham Bells, the hometown summer league baseball team, for any three home games against the Nanaimo Nightowls from Friday to Sunday. Show your wristband at the gate and enjoy America’s pastime with games starting at 6:35 p.m. each night.
Ticketholders who purchased online prior to the festival also get $10 off admission to Talib Kweli’s show on Saturday at Wild Buffalo right after Northwest Tune-Up headliner Lupe Fiasco.
See you there! X
